Islington North CLP Women's Forum The Islington North CLP Women's Forum aims to encourage participation by women members and highlight the important role we play in the party and the wider community. Most of the women involved already go to too many meetings, so we tend to be activity based. In 2007 for instance, we organised an outing to the William Morris Museum in Walthamstow, a Christmas meal, and a public celebration of women's achievements in Islington. In March 2008 we organized a major Borough-wide celebration of International Women's Day, which included international food tasting, speeches and entertainment. The Forum publishes the Islington Women's Guide, which provides information and support and sets out many of the organisations and agencies that women can turn to for help.
