Local Labour Party members and supporters held their annual garden party celebration and fundraiser at the Islington Ecology Centre on Sunday (1st July). Despite the showers, those present enjoyed food, children's face-painting, folk music from "Shambolica" and a performance by the Red Rose Singers as well as speeches from MP Jeremy Corbyn, GLA Member Jeanette Arnold and council opposition leader Catherine West.
